AI Evidence · powered by Guard

Make your website AI-ready. Keep the evidence.

Understand what machines can access, what your pages explain and where your brand appears in AI answers. Freelopers combines Guard findings with hands-on website work, then checks what changed.

What Guard examines · connected signals

Look beyond a single score.

Guard brings technical checks and AI-answer observations into one workflow. Each finding still needs its page, context and next action.

01

Performance & technical SEO

Review page performance, crawl controls, sitemaps, canonical URLs and language signals. Use the findings to identify barriers and prioritise fixes.

02

Content & crawler access

Inspect answer structure, entity clarity and AI crawler permissions. These checks describe your site’s readiness for machine reading.

03

Observed AI visibility

Track brand appearances in answers from Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity. Keep the returned answers and their observation context alongside the result.

04

Accessibility & security

Review automated accessibility findings, security headers and SSL checks. Use the evidence to guide remediation and further manual review.

Reading the evidence

Readiness, visibility and outcomes answer different questions.

Our reporting keeps these layers separate, so a technical improvement is not mistaken for a business result.

Readiness

Can the page be accessed and understood?

Inspect the page itself: access, useful text, clear structure and accurate structured data. Record the specific finding and the change made.

Visibility

Did the brand appear in an observed answer?

Record the prompt, engine, date and returned answer. Count mentions and cited links separately; keep unsuccessful runs visible in the report.

Outcomes

Did the visit lead to useful action?

Review available referral and conversion data alongside the observations. A score change or brand mention alone does not establish a lead or sale.

Delivery

Turn findings into an agreed plan

Freelopers helps scope the changes, implement the website work and document the follow-up checks. The pilot defines which pages and questions are in scope.

Our working protocol

A change you can trace from finding to follow-up.

This is our proposed measurement workflow. The pages, engines and observation windows are agreed for each engagement.

  1. 01Record the starting pointSave the target URLs, audit findings, questions, engine settings and observation dates before making changes.
  2. 02Choose the interventionAgree which technical, content and accessibility changes to make. State what each change is intended to improve.
  3. 03Keep a change logRecord releases and concurrent changes, including platform scripts and settings. Use a comparison page only while it remains unchanged.
  4. 04Repeat the checksRecheck the agreed pages and questions under comparable conditions. Record missing runs and any differences in tooling or configuration.
  5. 05Report the result and its limitsSeparate technical findings, observed mentions and cited links. Explain what the comparison shows and what it cannot attribute to a single change.

Freelopers case study · historical baseline

The starting point stays visible.

These previously published observations are from the baseline frozen on 16 July 2026. The redesigned website is now live. This table is a historical reference, not a current audit or a measured after result.

Previously published Freelopers baseline, frozen on 16 July 2026
SurfaceObservationContext
Homepage mobile performance47Fresh Lighthouse lab run; LCP 10.14 seconds and CLS 0.182.
Tracked route accessibility91–97Repeated contrast and heading-order findings; Contact included an ARIA issue.
AI assistant mentions0 / 60Two successful before windows across Gemini and ChatGPT; combined 95% Wilson interval 0–6.0%.
Homepage corrected AI Readiness20 / 100Draft-only LLM information was excluded from the live score.
Homepage corrected GEO8 / 100Corrected to use AI Readiness for the analyzed URL rather than an arbitrary page.
Security headersD · 50 / 100Baseline observation; remediation may require platform-level configuration beyond the theme.

Measurement note: These values retain their original scope. They have not been remeasured for this page update. The prompt panel is not a sample of every AI answer, and automated scores are not compliance certification.

How to interpret a result

Useful evidence includes its limits.

  1. 01Before and after is not proof of cause.Content, competitors, engine behaviour and platform changes can move at the same time. A comparison cannot isolate every influence.
  2. 02Automation is one part of accessibility.Scanner findings support investigation and remediation. They do not establish full WCAG conformance or legal compliance on their own.
  3. 03Readiness is not a placement promise.Better access and clearer content do not guarantee that an AI answer will mention or cite a business.

AI Evidence FAQ

Clear answers before the first audit.

What Guard measures, how to read the findings and how to start.

What is Guard, and how does Freelopers use it?

Guard is Freelopers’ website-intelligence product. It brings together website audits, AI-readiness checks and observations from AI answers. We use these as inputs to decide what to fix, document the work and compare later observations.

Is AI readiness the same as AI visibility?

No. Readiness checks examine the website, including crawler access and content structure. Visibility monitoring examines returned AI answers for a brand mention or source link. A readiness score does not demonstrate that an assistant has recommended your business.

Which AI engines does Guard track?

Guard’s public product overview lists Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity for AEO visibility monitoring. Any result should be read with its recorded engine, question set and observation date; it does not describe every answer those systems may produce.

Can we see Guard findings inside HubSpot?

Yes. Guard’s HubSpot integration brings website-health scores and audit history into contact records, with score properties available for workflows. The Guard dashboard provides the broader view of findings and trends.

Will FAQ schema make an AI assistant recommend us?

There is no such guarantee. FAQ markup describes the questions and answers visitors can read on a page. Google says its AI search features require no special schema or AI text files. Helpful content and technical eligibility do not guarantee selection or citation.

How do we start with AI Evidence?

Use Get AI-Ready to contact Freelopers about your website, audience and priority pages. We can define a pilot around a recorded baseline, an agreed set of changes and comparable follow-up checks. Scope is agreed before work begins.
