FAQ
1) How to Change 404 and 500 System Pages
- Go to Design Manager. (Marketing > Files and Templates > Design Tools)
- Create Child Theme (Learn more about how to do this)
- Navigate to "Child Theme" and create a folder with the "modules" name
- Navigate to "Parent Folder" that is "theme-delight" in the @marketplace root folder > "modules" > "404" modules > right click > "Clone to child theme" > Select your child theme > Click "Okay"
- Navigate to "Child Theme" > "404 modules" will be automatically populated in your "modules" folder you created two steps below. Click it and change the "Label" or only add the "- New" end of the Label to distinguish easily from others in the following steps. After changing the name of the Label, click "Publish changes". Then click the "Edit global module" button.
- Additional note: if your HubSpot subscription plan prevents you from using CTA and you see a red warning in codes, it will not allow you to save changes. For this, you need to delete the Fields > CTA field in the top right corner. Then you can edit your global module. (Screenshot 1)
But right after that, when you enter the editor tool as in the 2nd image, go to Content Controller > CTA section and delete the "CTA", select the Link Type as "Content" and select the "Content" you want to direct your users to after they get the 404 error, and then click "Apply Changes".
